Merimbula really is the kind of place you can 'get away from it all'. The shops, clubs, restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues are only a flat walk away, and there are many options for the children, from water sliding and rollercoaster riding to ten-pin bowling, all within close proximity to town.
Merimbula Lake has numerous great fishing spots, like Mitchies Jetty (pictures right) at the end of the peninsular.

A two minute stroll from Tween Waters Holiday Resort finds you on the golden sands of Merimbula's main beach, where the crystal clear waters provide swimming, surfing, snorkelling, walking, fishing and a variety of recreational options.
Merimbula is also surrounded by National Parks, therefore opening up another realm of adventure with walks and nature tours. Also close by are Bega, Eden, and Tathra which in their own right have much to offer in the way of history and sights.
